Day 2 - Way too early

General / 01 February 2018

So today was "fun" I got woken up by the fire alarm early in the morning, of course thankfully it was fake but then again I COULD HAVE SLEPT MORE :D

In any case I thought I would do a warm up sketch just to see if I can use it as coffee for my hand. Also I though I need to change things up as my workflow is getting to mechanised so I installed new brushes and this is what came out

Was trying to keep everything in very low values, not to include too much of the contrast, guess you can say I shot this in S-Log :D but by doing this I realised that its super fun and I should keep doing it. One thing I have to figure out is theme because I literally spend 1h thinking what to sketch "very" productive. So tomorrow I will try to think of some theme or some lazy way around it :D

So warm up is finished time to go back to my personal piece that I will try to finish soon. I though to take one of my older work and change it work it up will see how it goes but for now I'm starting from this

I feel that it should be more cinematic and the mood should be different, duno will see how it will develop.

As always if you have some questions let me know.

Over and out, see you tomorrow.

Day - 1 Thought I give Artstation blog a go

General / 31 January 2018

I always wanted to this but never had thing to post or things to share that I thought were interesting. As it turns out I still do :D but what do I know what other people are interested in so here it goes. I will try to post something as frequent as possible and that just going to be my day to day concept art living.

So today I want to share something I had worked on and put my heart and design passion to.

While I was at EA Criterion games I had an unique opportunity to contribute to Star wars universe with my designs. I tell you I was geeking out especially then maybe 2-3 years ago I was talking to my friend Spiros and we were joking about how cool it would be to work on Star Wars, but it'll never happen, little did I know. And although I can;t share my work just yet here is a great article about how we made on of the assets for the Battlefront II game:
Making of Fondor Dock

Its a little and short incite on how studio works and what actually goes into making something like this but could be interesting for some of you ;]

Also if you have any questions let me know I would gladly answer them ;] ( unless I can't due some NDA restrictions )

Over and out, see you tomorrow ;]
